Our spacious backyard is the heart of the fun, where pups have room to run, play, and explore. With daily playtime and activities tailored to each dog’s energy level, your dog will come home happy, tired, and ready to nap. To beat the heat in the summer, we have a pool and a splash pad to keep your dog cool and refreshed after hours of play.
Meet Flynn, our resident dog host—a lovable, playful 11-year-old pup who never tires of a good game of ball. He’ll make sure your dog has a blast during their stay! For our feline friends, we have Ooze, the sweet orange cat host, who welcomes your kitty to their very own room. At night, the cats have free roam of the house to relax and feel at home.
With over 15 years of petcare experience, I treat every pet like they’re my own. As a fully insured and bonded professional, you can rest assured your pet is in safe hands. I love animals like crazy and will go the extra mile to ensure they’re happy, comfortable, and well-cared for.

About me
Hi there! I’m Hannah, owner of Barkin' B & B and I've been passionate about animals my whole life. Growing up, we always had pets around, and I took our family dog with me to college—she was my best friend and constant companion. Since then, I've always had a dog by my side, and they’ve become an integral part of my life.
For the past 15 years, I’ve been petsitting, and for the last 10, I’ve had the pleasure of running my own pet care business from home. I moved from Prescott, AZ to Richmond, VA, and it’s been an exciting three years setting up here and thriving with my furry friends.
I specialize in providing personalized care, with a focus on one-on-one attention. Your dog (or cat!) will feel like part of my family while staying with me, and I promise to treat them just like I’d want my own pets to be treated—because they are family. Over the years, I’ve taken several classes in dog training and pet safety to ensure that every pet in my care receives the best experience possible.

Hannah is amazing! We tasked her with not only loving on our 8 labs but also two mommy labs who had just had 17 babies! She was wonderful with all of them. Caring, responsible, the perfect doggie/house sitter. Couldn't recommend her more highly!
